This November marks the launch of The Leadership Artist—an executive leadership consultancy born at the intersection of science, strategy, and the arts.
But this isn’t just strategic consulting. It’s a living lab. A testbed. A bridge between academic research and business practice.
Why now?
Because I’ve begun a four-year Executive PhD journey at Antwerp Management School, where I’m researching how the cognitive skills developed in musical training—like anticipation, precision, and improvisation—can enhance strategic thinking for executives in today’s complex, digital environments.
And I didn’t want to wait four years to make an impact.
So, The Leadership Artist was created as a real-time application space for emerging insights. Every executive coaching engagement becomes a research collaboration. Every strategy session, a learning opportunity. It’s where theory and practice meet—and inform each other.
Here’s what sets this evidence-based leadership approach apart:
- Dual Expertise – 20+ years in executive leadership at global firms like Nokia, XING, and DERTOUR, plus a background in classical guitar and choir conducting.
- Evidence-Based Methods – Research-backed leadership development approaches replace buzzwords and gut feeling.
- Collaborative Engagements – In the first phase, I’m offering pro bono projects with select partners who want to co-create leadership development programs based on creative leadership strategies.
From strategic leadership offsites to executive coaching, this consultancy is built around one powerful idea:
The mental frameworks that create artistic excellence can be systematically applied to leadership in complexity.
The timing is deliberate. Executive leadership has never been more challenged—or more in need of fresh perspectives that address complex leadership challenges.
Whether you’re leading transformation, navigating uncertainty, or just ready to discover how to improve leadership skills—The Leadership Artist is here to help.
Want to be part of the journey? Let’s talk.
